Your role at HZI directly contributes to turning something once considered useless—waste—into something invaluable: energy, heat, hydrogen, fertilizer, and beyond.
- You prepare design calculations, P&IDs, functional design specifications, and other process engineering documents for offers for quotation and retrofit projects
- You create technical documents for the procurement of various systems (Boiler, water steam cycle, flue gas treatment, auxiliary systems)
- You commission of plants and plant sections on site (travel activity 10-20%)
- You write operating manuals and train operating personnel on site
- You execute plant analyses to optimize plant availability and performance
- You clarify technical questions related to claims or warranty cases

**Qualifications**
- You are a trained process / chemical / mechanical / environmental engineer with 2+ years’ relevant experience, preferably in the area of machine and plant engineering
- You have a solid knowledge of process engineering procedures
- You are eager to learn on project base as well as on site
- You have an organized, precise, and high-quality work style combined with good communication skills
- You are fluent in English and French, German is a plus
