**CONTEXT**:
***The mission of our Business Division (BD), Technology and Technical Support (T&TS), is to propose to our clients sustainable, efficient and competitive solutions, technologies, catalysts and adsorbents, and services for the whole Axens’ domains (Oil & Biomass Hydroprocessing & conversion, Petrochemicals production & purification, Gas and Water Treatment, CO2 capture).

T&TS BD is responsible for the performance achieved in Axens’ clients process units and for ensuring our offer competitively answer market needs and address the challenging energy transition period.

Within this BD, the Petrochemistry Product Line cover associated technologies and products relating to the Aromatics and Olefins market segments. It is composed of a team of highly qualified Technology Engineers whose missions are at the crossroad of Axens core jobs:

- Contribute to market analysis,
- Steer of R&D programs to maintain and develop our portfolio of solutions, propose innovative improvements,
- Promote Axens portfolio of solutions,
- Develop and defend robust and competitive technical proposals in response to calls for tenders, support sales,
- Build, maintain and share strong expertise through project execution,
- Ensuring after sales top-of-the-line services with technical assistance of process units in operation.

We are looking for a Technology Engineer for the Aromatics group who will work on these various missions in close collaboration with our Commercial Business Division (Regional Sales Managers), as well as with the other Axens entities (Project Operation BD, Industrial Operation BD, Legal Department, etc ). He/She will be under the responsibility of the Aromatics Product Line Manager. Its area of intervention will mainly concern Aromatics complex technologies and products. Your assignment will involve short overseas travels.

**MAIN ACTIVITIES**:
Within the Aromatics group, the Technology Engineer will be in charge of:

- Preparing technical proposals in response to tenders. As such, he/she determines and optimizes the performance, quantity of catalysts, operating conditions and cycle time of our products or units. He/She can carry out the preliminary sizing of the equipment and calculate the investment and operating costs.

Technically supporting the Regional Sales Managers for the preparation and defense of these offers with customers.
- Participating in the updates or development of marketing documents associated with the technologies of the Product Line and promoting the technologies and catalysts for which he/she is responsible through marketing actions: publications, presentations at conferences and seminars.
- Monitoring a portfolio of units over time and maintaining regular technical relations with customers (performance review, in particular thanks to the digital platform developed by Axens to support its customers, technical visits on site, troubleshooting, etc.).
- Carrying out “spot” field missions (a few days to a few weeks) at customer’s sites: performance tests of grass root units, replacement and activation of catalysts, catalyst performance tests, troubleshooting.
- Participating in the collection, synthesis and use of data relating to the units for which he/she is responsible for monitoring in order to capitalize on Axens know-how and identify areas for improving technologies and products.
