Powertrain Development Engineer

CIXI is an active mobility startup developing products ranging from the Vigoz -an active vehicle that can travel up to 120km/h
- to bicycles. We want to enable people to be active during their daily trips and reduce their environmental footprint.

By joining us as **Powertrain Development Engineer**, you will be part of the Car to Ground group for the Vigoz and will be responsible for developing the vehicle's powertrain. You will be involved in both project management and technical development of the systems.

**Your responsabilities**:

- Manage the powertrain project: resources, planning, products, deliverables
- Design relevant mechatronic systems for our vehicle
- Write technical specifications for the powertrain scope
- Size and design powertrain systems
- Deal with suppliers within the scope of the project: prospecting, consulting, selecting suppliers
- Pilot and/or carry out prototyping (outsourced manufacturing, in-house assembly)
- Participate in preparing and carrying out tests (bench or road) in collaboration with our validation team (internal, external, and homologation tests)

**Your profile**:

- You have a Master's degree in Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- You have knowledge in the development of mechatronic and electrotechnical products
- You have some understanding of actuators
- You have a good understanding of physical phenomena
- You have good interpersonal skills and can work in cross-functional, multicultural teams, and with suppliers
- You demonstrate a high level of rigor and organization
- You are capable of working in English
