CIXI is an active mobility startup developing products ranging from the Vigoz -an active vehicle that can travel up to 120km/h - to bicycles. We want to enable people to be active during their daily trips and reduce their environmental footprint. By joining us as a Mechanical Systems Development Engineer you will integrate our Mechanical Team in charge of developing a sub-system various perimeters. You will be in charge of this system from the definition phase to the prototype validation. **Your Responsibilities**: Achieve the objectives of quality-cost-planning goals of the system and its subcomponents, ensure the deliveries of the subsystem releases Define and maintain the list of requirements of your system in accordance with the systems engineering team and the stakeholders Develop mechanical systems, carry out the sizing and design of your system and/or outsource the sizing & design Create all the relevant technical documentation (drawings, assembly sequence, DFMEA,...) Participate in the prototype manufacturing and verification & validation phases Source the components or support the sourcing & develop the supplier portfolio **Votre profil**: - You are capable of designing and improving our mechanical systems based on your academic and professional experience. - Your knowledge of tools like Jira, as well as planning, risk management, and requirements management, enables you to coordinate projects effectively. - We work in a dynamic environment, and you can rely on your technical problem-solving skills and your eagerness to learn quickly. Your ability to take a step back allows you to combine a "trial-and-error" approach with an organized vision, finding the right balance between flexibility and assertiveness. At CIXI we value engagement, intellectual honesty, and kindness. We are currently a team of around 90+ people, and each one of us is an important pillar for the achievement of our projects.
