Ccis Area Manager

CCIS (CMA CGM Inland Services) is a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, dedicated to the development of land transport solutions.

It offers complete and integrated logistics solutions with high added value, adapted to the specific needs of its customers throughout their supply chain: storage, picking, kitting, processing of packaged goods, post-manufacturing and loading and unloading.

THE ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES

In line with the Global head of CCIS and in close cooperation with the all CMA CGM Group’s support departments:
A/ Network Performance
- Supervise and report the area’s financial and operational performance;
- Insure good implementation of CCIS HO strategy and standards;
- Responsible for quality and profitability of operations on the facilities;
- Attend and animate monthly analytical finances conference calls with the network of entities;
- Business and Operations monitoring: monitor level of services, process quality, security, productivity, financial performance. Monitor invoicing accuracy & timeliness and follow-up on Sales outstanding, investments and cash flow;
- Drive corrective action plans towards continuous improvement;
- Human Resources : key recruitments, knowledge & talent management, rotation plans;
- Attend purchase and administrative requests from the network of entities;
- Be involved in transverse plans (such as IT systems, purchase synergies, QHSSE or good practice program);
- Ensure physical visits of each site at least once a year.

B/ Project Development
- Trade and Organic Development
- Overall responsible for the roll out of CCIS Global Strategy in the related area;
- Assist in the definition and execution of the Commercial Strategy of each entity in the area;
- Monitor CCIS entities sales efforts and development initiatives;
- Coordinate the network, profit-sharing, tariff policy and cooperate on within the Group;
- Responsible for customer retention programs and follow-up and Point of entry for cross-sale initiatives in your region;
- Overall responsible for the communication matters related to CCIS in the area and act as focal point for the group.
- Project Management
- Assess all new project leads from the CMA CGM network within the concerned area in coordination with RO BD teams;
- Drive the project studies, Capex dimensioning, Business Plans and investment plans;
- Redact and maintain the documents requested for the validation steps within the Group;
- Establish and manage key partnerships when relevant and remain the point of entry for the Partners;
- Be involved with local and HO teams in the project implementation;
- Responsible for audits/due diligence on acquisition projects when necessary in coordination with CCIS/HO M&A dpts;
- Actively involved into the implementation of new projects as per Budget / Business Plan till delivery;
- Initial sales plan and delivery of volume ramp up;
- Is involved in layouts / civil works, operational design / engineering, Hardware and MHE, HR, IT ;
- Hyper-care mode when launching new projects including physical presence on site to support local team / Regional team + Area Managers;
- Drive CCIS existing locations extension projects;
- Can be involved on request of the Global Head of CCIS on other projects in close areas.

PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and/or Logistics - with knowledge in finance and accounting, operations, sales, marketing, HR basics;
- Minimum 10-year experience in Maritime, forwarding and/or logistics industry, an international experience would be a plus;
- Knowledge in depot, logistic platforms and transportation (trucking, barging, rail) would be appreciated on the field (in management or operational functions) and HO levels;
- Fluent in professional English and possibly French; other languages related to the area appreciated;
- Well organized, dynamic, independent, with solid project management skills;
- Strong ability for adaptation, leadership, relational and communication qualities, team spirit;
- Ability to work under pressure in various difficult environments;
- Be mobile and ready for regular time on the field.
