**Our organization**:
IP/IT legal team is organizing partnerships and collaborations between ArcelorMittal affiliates and industrials, suppliers, institutes and customers to support the Company in its strategy of control, management and valorization of the new developments and new technologies and support Company in its relationship with software editors - notably with regards to compliance with data protection, and also has to manage GDPR activities. This team is also following related litigations. The activities are provided in close collaboration with Central Patent Team, Tax Dpts and the Regional/local legal Departments.
Manager with lawyer profile, he/she will manage a team of legal counsels and legal assistants (10 employees), such management including preparation of budget and use of reporting tools;
Based on his/her good knowledge on Group technology and his/her high skills in IP/IT laws and contractual negotiations, he/she will bring legal worldwide support to the whole group for IP/IT legal files, and notably by providing:
**Your role**:
- Advice and analysis and definition of the intellectual property strategy to be aligned with strategy of the segments and the Company, advice and analysis about situations involving IP or IT concerns in compliance with business strategy, drafting and negotiation of agreements about major IP or IT matters, such as JV companies relationship, licensing in or out, Auto and decarb projects and ensuring harmonized treatment of IP/IT files by the team in the whole group (ensuring implementation of templates, of training...); participation to steering committees with segments for strategic files (litigations and exploitation of IP in auto market, decarb) ;
- Advice, preparation, follow up and steering of litigation files about IP or IT matters ;
- Definition of what has to be implemented for GDPR for Global R&D by member of my team;
- Management of ArcelorMittal brand trademarks and domain names portfolio, and notably of related litigations and other recovery processes by using contractors.
**Your profile**:
- MASTER's degree in the legal field
- High skills in intellectual property laws, IT contracts
- Ability to manage a team
- Aptitude to support change management, to work with various cultures and with people having various backgrounds (CTOs, engineers, researchers, commercials, lawyers, business persons, CFOs in various countries all around the word)
