We are looking for a **Junior** **Financial Controller** in Toulouse:
**About your job**:
The finance team is growing as the company keeps signing new contracts and receiving grants and financing. Within our team, you will be working hand-by-hand with our CFO, our Financial analyst and our Accounting & Treasury Analyst on a wide range of topics, the main ones being described below.
- _
Financial Reporting and Analysis_
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
- Consolidate data from project management and accounting systems to generate financial reports
- Support the development of dashboards and KPIs for financial control of the operations of the company
- _
Budgeting and Forecasting_
- Participate in annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting activities
- Integrate project monitoring to monitor budget at company level
- Assist in developing tools for scenario analysis and financial modelling
- _
Project controlling_
- Work hand to hand with project management to define applicable costs and financial performance of each project
- Support in tracking expenses related to grants and institutional contracts
- Analyse cost structure to identify areas of optimization
- _
Internal Control and Expenses Compliance_
- Help ensuring compliance between accounting and grant reporting
- Support to audit preparation and documentation for project related themes
- _
Process Improvement_
- Help the finance and project management team to ensure alignment in the data collection methods
- Support the implementation of new financial tools for data management and reporting
- Assist in automating manual processes

**What you need to be successful**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, ideally in a project-based company.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- English professional is a must. French and/or Spanish a plus
