**Apprentice - Operations technician**
**Core missions of the Quality Assurance Coordination Office (BCAQ)**

Then come and join our (6-person) team within the Institute's Reactor Division, responsible for operating the reactor installations in compliance with the regulations and internal or external contractual commitments at the ILL.
**Your tasks**
In an environment conducive to learning, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Contributing to the proper functioning and improvement of the installations by identifying preventive and corrective maintenance operations to be performed and by suggesting modifications to the installations
- Contributing to the proper execution of interventions by preparing intervention procedures and reports
- Contributing to the safety of personnel and property
- Together with your supervisor, participating in analysis of anomalies and events related to the functioning of the installations.
**Your profile**
- You have a Level 4 qualification (A levels, HNC, advanced apprenticeship or equivalent) which has given you a good base of knowledge in industrial maintenance. You are studying for a Level 5 qualification (foundation degree, HND, NVQ or equivalent) or a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a work-study contract.
- You have experience in electrical engineering or mechanics in an industrial environment.
- You have excellent skills in spoken and written French, as well as good sense of teamwork and the ability to be flexible, meticulous and proactive.
