Job Summary
The Sustainability Analyst will join JLL’s EMEA Energy & Sustainability Platform, to support the delivery sustainability products and services to our clients. The Analyst will support a key client account Sustainability Program and Team with database administration, continuous improvement identification, and general administrative duties.
What this job involves
Reporting to the sustainability program lead, the primary duties are to:
Work as a valued and integral member of JLL’s energy & sustainability centre of excellence;
Support the operation of the JLL energy and sustainability platform in EMEA and globally;
Supporting the Client sustainability program activities and teams through the provision of ad-hoc administrative duties
Assume responsible for the maintenance of and adherence to Client procedures related to Energy and Sustainability documentation and data management
Liaise with Client utility suppliers, brokers, landlords & agents to establish and manage consistent and robust data transfer processes
Support Client sustainability program team members and related stakeholders with the management of utility supply and vendor queries
Act as a conduit between Client internal departments and vendors to ensure that all financial system change and/or new requirements are communicated in a timely manner
As and when required, assist with the management and correction of rejected payment files and liaise with the appropriate internal departments to ensure payments are correctly processed
Support Client sustainability program activities and teams with the creation of campaigns to engage internal, and as needed external, stakeholders in their corporate Sustainability agenda
Drive awareness and educate stakeholders globally to broaden knowledge and expertise
Proactively engage and influence across Client organisations to ensure sustainability is at the heart of decision making
Proactively engage and influence across the JLL energy and sustainability platform in EMEA and globally.
Desired experience and technical skills
Previous experience in a similar capacity required
Data entry and working with in business processes and governance structures
Strong organisational skills with the ability to self-manage multiple activities to tight deadlines
Fluent in written and spoken English
Ability to manage, analyse and present large and complex data sets with good knowledge of spreadsheets and other analytical software platforms, such as Tableau
Have a passion for sustainability in the built environment;
Be a self-starter with an ability to work autonomously as well as within a team;
Show strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail;
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to provide quality reports and advice;
Flexible, self-motivated with a service-oriented personality and a strong desire to achieve goals;
Promote open, constructive and collaborative relations with colleagues and clients.
