**Overview**
Wellcom Worldwide is looking to recruit a freelance art worker on a temporary basis to service major projects for a prestigious global auction house. This freelance role will be based onsite at the client’s Paris office, reporting directly to the local Studio Manager.
The mission starts in September and lasts for two or three months, with a fixed monthly fee. Ongoing collaboration may be considered.

This role would suit someone who is highly proactive and organised, with excellent art-working skills and a creative eye. Attention to detail is a must to thrive in our fast-paced studio. You will need to be able to work under pressure. Perfect mastery of French and English grammar and spelling is essential, along with at least two years’ experience in graphic production.

You will be working as part of a team of freelance graphic designers, along with working closely with our other global studio teams in London, New York and Hong Kong.

**Key tasks**
- Day to day creation and completion of print and digital projects
- Use digital validation tools (Page-proof)
- Following print and digital workflows for all output deliverables
- Daily time tracking hrs on projects

**Experience**
- Proficient in print/digital layout (grids, hierarchy, typography)
- Proficient in print/digital production processes
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Good understanding of digital asset management systems (DAM, PIM)

**Software sills**
- Literate in Mac OS/Microsoft platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign (long documents, style sheets, GREPS)
- Good knowledge of After Effects photoshop & Illustrator
- Strong Skills in creating print/digital ready PDFs
- Good knowledge of Figma would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of Shorthand would be advantageous

**Editorial skills**
- Excellent command of French (grammar and spelling)
- Proofreading skills, knowledge of typographic rules
- Professional level of English
- Good understanding of visual storytelling
