**The Product Owner, Billing Role**
✦ Update customers data
✦ Cash collection and customer’s payment follow up
✦ Manage customers’ requests
✦ Litigation follow-up with Customer Service and Sales
✦ Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes, working closely with internal departments and external clients to reach satisfactory resolutions.
✦ Transverse projects linked to system integration and/or migration, cleaning databases, documentation
✦ Ensure compliance with international invoicing regulations, tax laws, and customs requirements for each country
✦ Process weekly payment campaigns
✦ Contributing to project scoping: identifying functional/technical solutions, costing implementation, scheduling work
✦ Breaking down and prioritizing functional and technical user stories
✦ Write the functional specifications for the work to be carried out
✦ Manage the various project resources
✦ Carry out functional acceptance testing & data migration activities
✦ Manage the contacts in charge of testing (QA)
✦ Reporting on the team's work and communicating with the various departments involved
✦ Provide Level 3 functional support with the support of the development team
**You will be successful in this role if you have/are**
✦ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
✦ Fluent verbal and written English and French
✦ Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role, with a focus on international billing processes.
✦ Proficient in using billing software and financial systems (NetSuite, Salesforce) and Excel Knowledge
✦ Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
✦ Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external stakeholders
✦ Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
✦ Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of billing transactions
✦ Strong expertise in international invoicing regulations, tax laws, and customs requirements across multiple countries and regions
