Role Purpose
Career Level Definition

At this level requires specialized depth and/or breadth of sustainability expertise and consulting experience with C-Level exposure. Leads the development of sustainability services and value propositions, including integrated offerings into a single broad offering. Leads on deal making, including negotiation and closure of deals and requires excellent consultancy capability for story lining and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Business Development - Drive sustainability consulting business growth with Real Estate Investors in France. Develop and rollout growth strategy by working closely with Client Sustainability Solution team to identify key growth markets and opportunities. Leverage JLL network to engage with clients, build pitches and winning proposal to address sustainability opportunities

Client Income - Manage consulting P&L for Investors in France to achieve challenging but realistic business growth targets.
Consulting Delivery and Client Management - Lead the development of client sustainability consulting mission including facilitating executive/elected official level presentations. Coordinate work with consultants and other sustainability specialists and multi-disciplinary team such as valuation experts or project developers to deliver engagements. Secure, strengthen, develop and enhance client relationships

Sustainability Offering - Ensure differentiation of sustainability offering to attract and retain key clients. Develop and extend existing mandates on a range of sustainability issues, from strategy to implementation, reporting, compliance and emerging services (eg. biodiversity and the circular economy) and position the business favourably against industry competitors to drive strong brand awareness and a differentiated value proposition in the market

Thought leadership - Build the business's profile through insightful thought leadership, represent the business and influence the market through media such as speaking events, social media and press.
Ethics - Understand the organisations behavioural, moral, ethical and compliance standards & requirements, adhere to and demonstrate highest regard to these in all situations when interacting with customers, clients and colleagues

Relevant experience working in sustainability and/or consultancy
Specialist knowledge in sustainability and experience leading teams to produce sustainability deliverables to a high standard;
Strong communication skills, track record of working with Senior / C-Level stakeholder, ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
Well organised with strong management skills, ability to take ownership of client deliverable, to ensure alignment of multiple internal stakeholders, to meet deadlines and manage budgets
Strong problem-solving skills and experience in deals structuring
Excellent team-working, and ability to contribute towards a positive team dynamic
Some experience working with Real Estate investors or occupiers - preferable but not essential
