**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The Technical Team Leader will be responsible for leading the development of advanced image processing and polarimetry solutions within Satlantis France. This role involves managing ongoing and future R&D projects (EU funded projects, European Space Agency projects, regional R&D programs, etc.), ensuring their technical success while aligning with the company’s long-term vision.

The Technical Team Leader plays a central role in the supervision and development of the existing team, which is primarily composed of junior engineers. This position requires an experienced and committed reference figure to guide, mentor, inspire and support the team’s technical and professional growth.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Manage and coordinate current and upcoming projects, ensuring technical excellence and timely execution;
- Develop and implement cutting-edge algorithms and methodologies to enhance Satlantis’ imaging capabilities;
- Work closely with the CEO to define and refine the technological roadmap aligned with business objectives;
- Provide technical insights to support strategic decision-making and business development;
- Foster innovation within the team by identifying new opportunities for technology advancement;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including research institutions and industry partners;
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in satellite imaging and data processing.

**Skills and experience**:

- MSc or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Image processing, or a related field;
- Proven experience (5+ years) in leading technical teams in image processing, remote sensing or space-related projects;
- Hands-on experience with advanced algorithm development and implementation;
- Knowledge in hyperspectral data processing for atmospheric profile inversion;
- Ability to define and execute technological roadmaps in alignment with business objectives;
- Strong project management skills and experience working in cross-functional teams;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and communication;
