Consulting Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Consulting System Engineer for Operational Technology (OT). The CSE OT is responsible for presenting and managing the pre sales, enablement, go to market and technical aspects of the Fortinet OT proposition and service offerings to our most important partners, customers and all our internal stakeholders.
Consulting Engineers are Fortinet ultimate technical solutions providers within the Global Sales organization. They must demonstrate a deep knowledge in one or more technical areas and domains. Consulting Engineers are the Fortinet Architect and technical authority and support the local teams by leading current and prospective technology to the partners, customers, and internal teams as well as those of our competitors in the areas of cybersecurity.

**Responsibilities**:
Successful OT Consulting Engineer’s act as a Fortinet spokesperson and is the last line of pre-sales support for OT solutions..

You will work alongside the rest of the company to promote and maximize the knowledge of the Fortinet OT solutions at every level within the EMEA partners organizations. Consulting Engineers are selectively utilized in Fortinet they are capable of speaking to and convincing C-level executives about the benefits of Fortinet technology and how it can be used to enable the partner to win their business confidently and choose Fortinet technology instead of competitors when answering RFPs.

The successful individual must have strong technical abilities, enjoy working in LAB environment and making demos and solutions that he/she will promote into the organization as well as partners. You will be supporting EBCs (executive briefing center) workshops with our bigger partner and prospects. The role is for all EMEA activities. You need to be familiar with the way control vendors and the OT market sees Cyber Security. You will also engage with control vendors product (Siemens, ABB, etc..), technological alliance partners (Nozomi, Claroty, Armis ), GSIs, etc.You will be working with the Fortinet Fabric product and will be responsible for validating, create and demonstrate Fortinet Fabric abilities in the OT Context. You will be involved in creation of uses cases, presentations to help our partner to succeed with Fortinet Fabric to OT solution. Enablement of our internal workforce is also a huge part of the job.

All in all, the OT Consulting system Engineer goal is to be recognized as the expert for the strategic vision of our Partners, Customers and internal team.

**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years experience in a technical pre-sales role on a global level
- Network IT Architecture knowledge is a must
- Understand the sales process, with acute listening and sales skills
- Have expert level troubleshooting and problem determination skills
- Ability to clearly articulate issues and concerns to management and support
- Excellent business writing and presentation skills
- 3+ years’ work experience in any ICS/OT sectors/vendor e.g., electrical power, oil and natural gas, transportation, etc. in technical role is a plus.
- Knowledge of the key Industrial Security Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (IEC 62443, NIST CSF, CIS Top 20, ISO 27XXX, NERC-CIP)
- Familiarity with the common industrial protocols (EthernetIP, Modbus, DNP3 & IEC 104, OPC,)Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
- Detailed knowledge and strong experience in installation and configuration of computer networks (LAN/WAN), and network security technologies e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, host security solutions, etc.
- Detailed knowledge and strong experience in network protocols and services e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, PKI, etc.
- Detailed knowledge and hands-on experience with implementing network and security solutions for ICS/OT environments.
- Knowledge and experience in dealing with diverse set of technology implementations e.g., Microsoft, Vmware, Linux etc.
- Knowledge and experience in dealing with ICS/OT equipment, e.g., HMIs, RTUs, PLCs, Controllers, etc.
- Hands-on experience with security vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
- Experience in developing and managing technology demo lab environments.
- Highly organized and efficient coordination skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask across many projects.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution with a sound understanding where escalation is required.
- Industry standard system administration, networking and network security certifications is a must. e.g., Network+, MCSA/MCSE, VCP, etc.
- Project work experience in deploying solutions for power substations or oil & gas plants or manufacturing plants is a plus.
- SANS/ GIAC GICSP certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Fortinet Fabric product range is a plus.
