Consumables Engineer

As a Consumables Engineer, you will oversee such projects for our customers, from the analysis of the request to the final release of the product. Attached to the Consumables Engineering Manager, the Consumables Engineer is in charge of collecting the technical specifications, business forecasts and information on the use of the product in situ at the customer, via the business contacts (Sales, Application Specialists, ) or the customer directly and will then develop and quote the new product.

**We are currently seeking a Consumables Engineer for the design of single-use products. ETO service (Engineering to Order) allows our customers to benefit from Sartorius’s consumable products perfectly adapted to their bioprocess need through a detailed customization.**:
**What you will accomplish together with us**:

- ** Manage ETO projects in an international environment from definition to final approval**:

- ** Coordinate all activities for the project and create the final design and pricing**:

- ** Define specifications in cooperation with other departments like product development, quality, procurment, sales and marketing for more complex projects**:

- ** Making technical and feasibility analyzes of projects**:

- ** Design new custom products using in-house design tool according to customer needs and internal design rules (Use of computer software design tool)**:

- ** Ensure product is manufacturable and define any qualification/testing that might be needed**:

- ** Calculate product cost and define price of the product in collaboration with marketing**:

- ** Coordinate all activities for industrialization of the product and order intake in an international and multi-sites environment**:

- ** Report project status**:
**What will convince us**:

- ** Engineer's or Master’s degree, mainly in plastics or bio process or mechanics or chemical process**:

- ** Specific technical knowledge: plastics, bioprocesses, pharmaceutical processes**:

- ** A fluent English is mandatory as you would be working daily in an international environment**:

- ** Excellent communication and coordination skills**:

- ** Strong autonomy**:

- ** Considered as a plus**:

- ** A first experience in project management in industry**:

- ** Understanding of ISO and GMP standards and procedures linked to the pharmaceutical industry**:
