Who You'll Work With

Our group is made of engineers with different abilities united by their passion for innovation and the excitement of turning wildly ground-breaking ideas into products that impact the industry at large. We are building Cisco’s next-generation technological innovation by combining machine learning and distributed software with networking technologies.

We love designing and implementing large-scale machine learning pipelines. Our technology stack includes Python and Go as well as a wide range of internal tools built on top of Apache Spark, Trino, Apache Iceberg, Dagster, and PostgreSQL.

Who You Are
- **Leadership**: you can lead and drive engineering roadmaps, even across organizational boundaries.
- Experience with **cluster computing **frameworks (Apache Spark, Trino, Kubernetes, YARN). You have built and maintained clusters with thousands of cores.
- Experience with **Infrastructure as Code** (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD lifecycles and tools (knowledge of Gitlab is a plus).
- Experience with **AWS **is a strong plus (e.g., you have worked with EMR, RDS, EKS, CloudFront, etc.)
- **DevOps approach**: unit and system testing, code reviews, versioning, continuous integration.
- **Excellent English** spoken and written skills (C1/C2 level) is a requirement.
