Job Description Summary

**Job Description**:
The Grants Management Specialist (post-award tract) serves as leader for the management of sponsored program post-award reporting, post-award accounting activities, and information dissemination and training within the School of Medicine at the central level. The Manager directs and performs research support operations at the central School of Medicine level and on behalf of departments, centers and institutes; performs analyses of research and financial data; and develops, produces and analyzes reports to enhance the understanding and management of research administration at the School of Medicine. Works to improve customer service to investigators, the efficiency and accuracy of grants management and administration, and to increase the knowledge base for research administration on a School-wide level. Reports to the Director of Post Award Management, Office of Research Support Services.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 7 years experience or equivalent combination of years and experience required.
