As the world leader in alternative animal proteins*, Innovafeed contributes to the construction of a sustainable food system by developing a pioneering and innovative industry: the breeding and processing of insects (Hermetia Illucens fly).

- Dealing with global protein deficit *by strengthening our food systems

Incorporated in 2016, Innovafeed manufactures and sells 3 different insect-based products:

- Insect protein for a more sustainable and qualitative aquaculture, especially for feeding salmon and trout
- Insect oil for feeding animals (like pig and poultry), in the context of sustainable farming respectful of animal welfare
- Insect feces used as an effective organic fertilizer

Your missions
*

Innovafeed has a very strong growth ambition and developing its industrial footprint is crucial to this ambition. The Industrial Deployment’s mission is to secure Innovafeed’s new production capacities. This means
- Screening a great number of geographies (10+ studied) and possible feedstocks
- Optimizing a set of complex criteria (technical, economic, political)
- Promoting Innovafeed’s unique industrial co-location model.

The team is organized by geographies. As part as the Europe team your role will be to support our industrial deployment in France and Europe by participating to the following activities:

- Screening of potential new industrial sites in Europe
- Structuration of potential new sites economics
- Negotiations with key partners (local authorities, agro-industrial partners for feedstock raw material sourcing, energy providers)
- Coordination with other Innovafeed’s teams, in particular R&D team for raw material characterization, Industrial team for handover for sites design and construction

You will also support the team overall development by contributing to transversal topics, notably:

- Strategic framing on new business models development (e.g. licensing)
- Structuration of Industrial Deployment team’s core tools and processes
- Fine understanding of our partners’ industrial processes

You will coordinate and interact across the board with a wide variety of contacts:

- internally: co-founders, R&D team, Industrial team, Business Development team, Legal team, QHSE team;
- externally: industrial partners, economic development boards, local authorities, political personalities.

**Your profile and skills**
- Ownership: willingness and drive to be 100% responsible for project success;
- Polyvalence: outstanding ability to navigate very diverse topics and leverage InnovaFeed’s in-house expertises;
- Interpersonal skills: strong leadership to maintain partners’ engagement and coordinate InnovaFeed teams in a cross-functional set-up;
- Problem solving skills: ability to efficiently structure new problematics and conduct robust analysis
- Languages: Fluent in English + Professional in French.

With a Master's degree, you ideally have 2+ years of experience in consulting or in industry.
