This research aim to contribute to a better understanding of noise protection mechanisms in bosonic systems and pave the way for optimized quantum error correction strategies.
**Mission confiée**:
The proposed postdoctoral project focuses on advancing the theoretical foundations of dynamical bosonic error protection through two complementary research directions.
The first direction involves estimating rigorously the relaxation times of cat qubits within a model that explicitly includes a buffer cavity. This work aims to mathematically quantify how the buffer cavity influences decoherence and to identify pathways for enhancing the robustness of these qubits against noise.
