As a Net Zero Manager, you provide technical expertise and guidance to accelerate on the Net zero delivery, by supporting climate taskforces & businesses (SBUs, strategic brands) on GHG accounting, identification, and assessment of interventions to achieve their roadmap. **A day in the life of Net Zero Manager**: Net zero climate acceleration: - Net zero strategic projects assessment, deliverables - GHG accounting for priority Net zero interventions, including support for 3rd party carbon calculation and/or verification if required. - Provide technical expertise on climate to project owners. - Provide accurate reductions & removals quantification from interventions to be integrated to the GHG reporting systems. - Provide expertise & assistance to key climate taskforces (regenerative agriculture, dairy, logistics, packaging, biodiversity, responsible sourcing etc.). - Help identifying, prioritizing, and assessing interventions where relevant to achieve the Net zero roadmap. - Understand needs and area of improvement. - Foster the deployment of interventions across businesses and geographies. - Develop and maintain guidance and tools for Net Zero carbon footprint calculation. Brands climate journey: - Propose, plan and deliver projects for strategic brands & products. - Perform Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to substantiate brands external ESG claims - Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). - CDevelop cCarbon roadmap able to capture key Net zero interventions for brands, to achieve carbon-related claims. - Embed climate in products reformulation. - Present results in written and oral form to interested parties or visitors, build, and share knowledge with the sustainability SBUs/brands community. - Develop and maintain LCA methodology and tools for brands. - Ensure consistency between Net Zero and brands climate journey in term of data management, reporting, alignment with GPS, etc. **What Will Make You Successful** - Curious : what you do not know yet attracts you. You are eager to learn new things and motivated meetto meet new personalities. - Fluent in English. - Collaborate with multi-functional stakeholders to align on objectives, scope and results. - Explain and defend scientific concepts in front of non-scientific stakeholders. - Comfortable with data management from various reporting systems. - Strong organizational skills and pro-activity. - Strong expertise in Excel and LCA tools such as SimaPro, Sphera Gabi or OpenLCA, - Excel in project management inside/outside direct sphere of control. - Ability to use internal and external network to influence operational deliverables. - Courage and emotional intelligence for on the ground exemplary excellence in climate change.
