**Job Summary**:
Alteia is seeking a talented and passionate **Data Engineer** to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

You will work closely with our data analysts, software engineers, and product managers to ensure the seamless flow and transformation of data from our product and other IT sources, making it ready for advanced analytics, machine learning model training. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative solutions to our enterprise clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:
️ Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable **data pipelines** for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of data

️ Work with **cloud-based data solutions** to store and manage massive datasets efficiently : AWS Athena, Apache Iceberg, Big Query, Apache Spark

Collaborate with product managers and other departments to understand their data requirements and provide them with clean, well-structured data.

️ Implement and manage **data monitoring and alerting systems** to ensure the health and performance of our data infrastructure.

Ensure data governance and security best practices are implemented and adhered to throughout the data lifecycle.

Integrate new data sources and technologies into the existing data platform.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture and engineering practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, working with large-scale data processing.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as **Python**.

Solid experience with **SQL** and NoSQL databases.

️ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., **AWS, GCP, Azure**) and their data services (e.g., S3, BigQuery, Glue).

️ Experience with big data technologies like **Apache Spark**, Kafka, or similar.

Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Argo Workflow, Airflow,).

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., **Docker, Kubernetes**) is a strongly appreciated.

Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake concepts.

️ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
