Shopper Activation Manager

Mission of the role (why the role exists)

The Shopper Activation Manager will adapt the national brand and category strategies to their respective retailers.

All those roles are the face to the customers of our new FR organization and responsible for influencing the strategy of the category and setting the best brand activation plan at their relevant customers.

Background & Experience
- The Shopper Activation Manager must have a strong commercial FMCG background in brand led Food or Beverage business.
- Strong commercial and brand acumen with experience in designing promo strategy and mechanics, brand activation instore and category management.

Key Responsibilities & Measure of Success
- In the first 6 months: implement the brand and category strategy designed by the Senior Marketing Manager to your customers.
- In the first 6 months set up the ways of working with your customers for Capri Sun brand activation.
- You are responsible to design the trade marketing, shopper marketing plan and category management strategy for your customers in collaboration with the relevant key accounts manager and the Senior Marketing Manager France.
- You are also responsible for channel-specific implementation of national marketing activities with the best ROI
- You support the sales department in building strategic partnership with existing customers and acquiring new customers with concept selling, and insight-based narrative.
- You will support the sales department in ensuring best in class visibility with category management selling story based on insights
- You will develop and introduce, working with agencies, new and creative sales promotion tools as well as best solutions for instore visibility for your customers and consumers
- You will organize and implement customer events, trade fairs, as well as internal and external events are part of your area of responsibility
- You ensure an optimal flow of communication between marketing and sales and the externalized field force teams, and provide insights back to Marketing/ Sales
- You take over the planning and implementation of customer-specific campaigns and inquiries
- You will also track what competition does in terms of brand activations in the different retailers and distributors
- You will oversee e-commerce activations, working closely with online retailers to optimize product listings, promotional campaigns & to create engaging and innovative shopper experiences online.
- You will analyze market trends, & shopper insights to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- You will be responsible for the budget allocation and management for shopper marketing initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI.

Key Performance Indicators
- Measurement and improving ROI of instore activities and trade investments.
- Measurement of number of distribution, quality of placement in shelves, second placements, promotion executions
- Brand KPIs (TOM, Brand awareness, qualitative KPIs from our Brand Health Tracker)
