**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ownership of the existing and new product specifications which includes all formulations and key process parameters. This includes areas such as inoculum use, production, incubation, and downstream processing
- In the area of Product development, use mycology
- and formulation/processing-knowledge to design and create new products that deliver superior performance
- In collaboration with our Production team, be responsible for the design and execution of a continuous improvement program to enable a constant flow of Process improvements
- Work with our CropCare team, Trial Farm and other experts to identify market needs and translate these into new value propositions
- Support our Strain Maintenance and Breeding Teams to design recipes targeted to optimise the performance of specific strains

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Demonstration of significant knowledge of fungal biology.
- Experience with both liquid and solid substrate fermentation processes.
- Ability to develop innovative products/systems and optimize product function and costs.
- Experience with quality control systems and processes.
- Ability to interact with external stakeholders.
- Ability to work as part of a global team.

Applicant should possess well developed computer, editorial, writing and presentation skills. Fluency in French and English is required. The role requires international travel at regular intervals.
