Spa Manager to Work in Ireland

**Muckross Park Hotel and Spa, part of The iNUA Collection is now recruiting a Spa Manager to join the team.**

- Provide the highest standards of treatments & service to customers throughout their entire journey.
- Be confident and enthusiastic in all your dealings while using your commercial awareness of the products both in the Spa & wider Hotel.
- Daily management of the Spa floor to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved through a great sense of attention to detail and driving exceptional standards with the team. This includes treatment room spot checks and ensuring that all treatment standards are being done at a very high level and consistently with all team members.
- Ensure that all team members are trained in all treatments and that training is scheduled where needed for refreshers etc
- Take ownership of the tasks issued by the General Manager and offer up solutions and ideas to issues to help resolve situations.
- Discuss with General Manager with any training requirements, ensuring training sheets are signed off and send to HR.
- Assist the Company with retail sales targets by putting forward ideas and assisting with motivating the team towards their targets.
- Manage the stock rotation and orders within the Spa while ensuring the General Manager is aware of any issues in a timely manner.
- Champion the social media presence for the Spa in conjunction with the General Manager.
- Assist with confidentiality and fairness across the Spa Team to ensure a supportive work environment maintained.
- Ensuring that health & safety standards of the Spa are maintained, including reporting any concerns to the General Manager and when required completing accident reporting forms.
- Along with all the team you will be required to ensure that the Spa is kept clean and hygienic at all times to the highest standards.
- You are the face of the Spa to every customer and the hotel; therefore, personal grooming guidelines should be adhered to and full uniform should be worn at all times during working hours.
- Everyone is expected to work together and help each other in all tasks associated with the business and you will be responsible for ensuring your team is motivated through effective communication, recognition of achievement and skill development.
- This role is part of the Spa team but also the wider team and is expected to support other departments of the hotel.
- Be responsible for your own development and should ensure that any areas that you require training or wish to gain an opportunity in, is brought to your General Managers attention.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the wider team within the Hotel.
- All Team Members are expected to adopt a flexible approach to provide the most effective coverage of reception and therapist duties during opening hours over the 7 day week opening times.
- The role involves providing some spa treatment cover and assisting with spa reception cover also.
- Along with all of the team, you are expected to work with all the team to cover any absences and holidays which may mean occasionally staying late or amending the rota to accommodate the wider team.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Answering the phone and covering the reception duties.
- You may be required to step into the more senior management positions in the absence of the Duty Manager, you will be provided full training on all aspects of areas that you are unfamiliar with.
- You are required to familiarise yourself with the Employee Handbook and ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered by all team members.
