CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.
CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.

YOUR ROLE
As a Logistics Officer, you carry out your duties with attention to:
Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and régulations
Be in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
Manage the logistics need of assigned vessels
Manage third party logistics partners and ensures that their service level is maintained as per CMA Ships standard
Control logistics cost and delivery lead time to achieve economical logistics solution
Ensure delivery on time on board through logistic chain from the forwarder to the vessel
Request for quotation for logistics spot rates and select best outcome
Handle and process invoices from forwarders
Update and properly track shipment status
Follow up with all stakeholders on any shipment discrepancies
Contribute towards data collection for tabulation into monthly logistics report
Analyze logistics data and recommend on areas for improvement.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
License degree in supply chain
At least 2 years' experience in supply chain experience
Basic knowledge of main conveyance modes, warehousing, custom clearance and incoterms
Good command of MS Office
Good level in English
**Personal attributes**:
Analytical skills, results oriented
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Good communication.
