**About the Role**:
The role will begin with a minimum of 3 months training full time at the Hprobe headquarters in Grenoble France. Equipment installations and acceptance will be lead on site by team members from headquarters. After acceptance the FSE role will be largely lone working on site supporting the tool and client in their process to meet and exceed required specifications. There will be strong remote support from the team based in France.

**Responsibilities**
- Aiding in the installation and acceptance process of equipment
- Providing quality on-site support, repair, planned maintenance and service of complex electro-mechanical systems
- Troubleshooting equipment problems mechanical and software based alone and with remote support from team in France
- Root cause analysis down to the component level
- Installation and qualification of new hardware features or upgrades
- Installation of new software updates and features
- Equipment calibrations and performance confirmation after any maintenance or relocation
- Documenting all works carried out and reporting activities to headquarters
- Maintaining good tracking of all inventory and spare parts for all allocated equipment

May perform other related duties as requested by management

The applicant must be a highly motivated and self-driven individual. The role will require largely lone working with support from the Hprobe headquarters in France. An independent and problem solving thought process is required. Good resilience in difficult situations and an attitude to always try and do the best for the client.

**Technical Skills**
- Master Degree or above in; Electronics, Physics, Automation or other science/engineering related field
- Trouble shooting / problem solving; electrical wiring faults, process and software issues
- Knowledge of electrical testing methods is a bonus
- Experience of working in the semiconductor industry is a bonus but not required
- Knowledge of MRAM and memory device testing is a bonus but not required

**Soft Skills**:

- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Independent and self-motivated
- Ability to develop strong and lasting client relationships

Competitive salary based on experience
