Senior Specialist Corporate Finance

The position is working at our BayernLB Branch in
- **Paris**, where you will be part of the Europe wide team Corporate Finance. You will cover a portfolio of large-size companies across the bank’s defined core industries. You will be the first contact to your customers coordinating the relationship internally in all aspects. In our team, we focus on further developing existing and acquiring new corporate client relationships in close cooperation with all the bank’s product specialists. You play a key role in defining the client strategy, giving direction and leading a dedicated deal team in order to identify and implement the best solutions for your customers. Your structuring knowhow, knowledge and creativity adds value to your customer relationships, which makes each contact a positive experience for your customers. You are committed to
- Assume responsibility for a sizable and diversified existing corporate client portfolio across several industries and pro-actively develop these relationships further across different products;
- Initiate and establish business relationships with new corporate clients, which were identified as prospects and identify potential new corporate clients which are in line with the strategic focus of the bank;
- Identify and develop innovative business opportunities and tailor made solutions across and together with all product fields for the customers which are in line with the bank’s strategy;
- Manage the customer portfolio on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the requirements of the customers are met, all business opportunities are identified and to provide prompt and top quality service;
- Ensure fulfillment of all required processes associated with deal origination and execute associated processes;
- Structure transactions, and independently lead the negotiation of term sheets, review and negotiate all relevant transaction documentation, whilst liaising internally as appropriate;
- Pro-actively co-ordinate the customers’ business relationships internally by means of close co-operation and strong communication with all relevant business/product units across the Bank, limit allocation and preparing individual customer strategies;
- Be a pro-active, valuable member of the department and contribute to a strong team spirit and to reach the joint targets

**Qualifications**:

- At least 10 years of professional experience;
- Profound knowledge of all major banking products, markets and major players as well as general banking practice;
- Experience in negotiation on a senior management level (i.e. Finance Director / CFO, Group Treasurer);
- Strong, creative and pro-active team player;
- Able to work under pressure on a high quality/service level and to meet deadlines consistently;
- Effective communicator;
- Highly motivated and self-disciplined;
- Work in French and English, German language skills are a plus;
- Result
- and client-orientated with a high level of risk awareness;
- Able to develop close working relationships with all relevant internal and external units;
- Willingness to travel
