Chartres plant is THE Coty luxury fragrance site. Based at 1 hour from Paris, in the center of Cosmetic Valley, Chartres factory is a place of choice to develop, industrialize and produce luxury fragrances. Chartres plant produces every year 65 millions units and is engaged in a 3 years growth and renovation journey with an inspiring ambition: Making “Chartres Le Luxe par Excellence” an effective reality and our pride.

**ROLE AND DEPARTMENT**: Industrial Chemistry Engineer in Quality Assurance Department
We’re looking for an Industrial Chemistry Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team.
Your role will cover 3 pillars relative to the process of production of fragrance (bulk): Pillar 1 relative to new product industrialization and to new equipment validation Pillar 2 relative to lab and making performance improvements Pillar 3 relative to project management and capabilities development
To achieve successfully these missions, you will work closely with many interfaces: plant operations (making, packing), plant support functions (safety, engineering), plant development functions (initiatives management) and corporate functions (R&D bulk, global QA)

RESPONSABILITIES

**In this role you will be responsible for**: Industrializing new product associated to business launches Managing scale up Qualifying new equipment in laboratory and making area Supporting operational business in QC laboratory and making area Managing bulk complaint and their investigation Managing Metrology of laboratory and making equipment Managing the continuous improvement of bulk RFT, batch cycle time & TAL Managing project including risk analysis process and using IQ-OQ-PQ protocols Being the Chartres SPOC for our external partners (raw material suppliers, R&D Formula, QM vendors) Developing skills and capabilities relative to end to end bulk production process (from raw materials validation to bulk release to filling-packing area)

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
You are a hands-on professional eager to support Lab and Making performance achievement and continuous improvement project deployment while creating positive collaboration as a SPOC, with R&D, Making team and other stakeholders (raw material suppliers).
To be successful in this role, you will bring a previous operational experience, an expertise in project management, color cosmetics, and a strong capacity to federate and influence internal and external interfaces.

**Key requirements**:
Chemistry Engineer degree
3-6 years FMCG or chemistry industry experience

Essential skills
GMP & ISO 9001 knowledge
Good English level (written and spoken)
Autonomy, Business acumen, ability to cooperate with technical & business interfaces
Work with facts and data, rigor, problem solving
Strong communication and presentation skills (from leadership members to operators)

Desirable skills
Color & Olfactory capability
SAP
Project management experience and leadership to manage change
