**Job Overview**:
**Main Duties**
- Prepared to learn the following as a minimum:
- To become familiar with the various administrative & accounting records to exercise the necessary control of equipment & provide an effective & efficient supply service.
- Work with the Air Head sections to ensure their ordering requirements of spares and materials etc. are met, tracked and delivered.
- The operation of the “VITAL” tracking system and providing data/reports as required. Ensure all inbound & outbound cargo is updated on the ‘VITAL' tracking system to ensure compliance with both MOD & NAO regulations.
- The maintenance of Base and SFA inventories including the raising of all paperwork required for inventory checks.
- The initiation and progression of programmed and non
- programmed stocktaking to ensure timely completion.
- Support the Supply, Logistics and Disposal Team in the running of the Supply section including waste management and processing.
- Ensuring that all action has been completed on vouchers and paperwork prior to passing to the Supply & Logistics Support Manager/Supervisor Supply Support for final scrutiny.
- The maintenance of all supply registers including preparation for quarterly checks by the Supply & Logistics Support Manager/Supervisor Supply Support.
- The registration, investigation and clearance of Discrepancy reports including the preparation of F34 for write off action where appropriate.
- Carry out duties commensurate with the position of Supply Administrator including collection and booking in of mail, signals, and the operation of the Supply section registry.
- To assist with packing & unpacking of shipping containers arriving on the MOD re-supply ship, & checking contents against the shipping manifest.
- Carry out any further tasks allocated by the Supply, Logistics & Disposals Manager/Administrator.
- Ensuring levels of stationery and forms stock required to support the unit is maintained.
- Liaison with the AIG Port Authority & FIRS staff in relation to the loading and off-loading of containers and equipment including associated paperwork.
- The maintenance of the voucher library and archives, including the filing of all auditable documents.
- To contribute to effective contract performance by working closely with all the teams/team members to support the implementation of company policies and strategies in order to achieve the business objectives.
- The registration, clearance and investigation of all auditable unsolicited MJDI outputs as required.
- Obtain three quotations for Local Purchase Orders (LPO).

- Good computer skills.
- Full clean driving license preferred but not essential.
- Must be prepared to travel to the UK and undertake MoD Training Courses.
- There is a manual handling element to this post so must be medically fit.
