**Technical Service Engineer - Tier 2 - Solar**

**Salary**: €48,000 - €52,000

**Location**: Lion, France

**Hours**: Mon - Fri (no weekend)

A Technical Service Engineer - Tier 2 is needed by their business. This job is ideal for you if you love working with people and enjoy diagnosing and resolving their technical problems.

**What you will be doing**
- Troubleshooting and resolution of calls or service situations requiring a higher level of expertise
- Monitoring and troubleshooting support, supervision, and coordination of Solar Power Plants for customers.
- General daily site management, reporting, and site work deliverables for the Service Manager and Sales Manager.
- Planning and preparation of site work, as well as maintaining and updating these tasks both internally and for clients.
- Evaluate customer demands in the areas of service, training, logistics, and planning with the support manager and implement the strategy to meet them.
- Identify product, documentation, and other obstacles to customer satisfaction, and work with headquarters to address them.
- Assist the sales team with technical matters and other deal-closing necessities.
- Utilize and detect monitoring database of client installations and SEDGE troubleshooting tool usage requirements. All activities should be recorded in (CRM) CREdge or other database platforms.
- Work actively to assist the branch office in meeting the company's KPIs.
- Select, collect, and analyse site-specific information to detect HW/SW concerns
- Approve RMA cases from Tier 1.
- Provide technical support and assistance for Tier 1 escalations
- Ensure that every issue, call, and case is recorded in the database.
- Escalate cases to FSE (for technical cases)
- Ensure that each Failure Analysis / Root Cause Analysis unit case is sent back to headquarters.
- Collaboration with regional logistics manager
- Collaborate with appropriate HQ contacts

**Requirements**:

- Electrical Engineer, Practical Engineer, or Comparable technical credentials
- Prior experience as a second-level engineer in a technical context and at least two years of PV business experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- IT knowledge
- Extensive and excellent technological expertise
- Native Local language, English business communication proficiency
- Customer-Focused, Team Player, Outstanding Communication Abilities
- Basic familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Capability to multitask in a very fast-paced setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to create and maintain working connections with customers, partners, peers, and supervisors.
- Second class electric work specialist license
