**In a context of sustainability transformation, material scarcity, market volatility, geopolitical instability, Chemical’s commodity has to**:
- Lead material transformation in close *link with Materi’Act strategy,
- Accelerate Faurecia merge with Hella and leverage full potential of the FORVIA commodity
- Structure the panel, to secure sustainable materials
- Deploy digitalization and standardized best practices.
We are hiring the enabler of this transformation and offering the Chemicals Purchasing Strategy Manager position.
**Essential responsibilities and duties of the Chemicals Purchasing Strategy Manager**:
The Chemicals Purchasing Strategy Manager is responsible for:
1) Building Strategic Planning in collaboration with GGCD- Consolidating Strategic planning Data from all regions,
- Analysing data and identifying commodity purchasing strategic axes
- Preparing presentations to be shared with Executive Management team
- Deploying strategic initiatives:
- Leading the Panel and sourcing convergence with regional commodity managers
- Animating with GGCD the supplier management process and business reviews
- Boosting Supplier innovation, in collaboration with Innovation team and preparing Tech’days
- Leading market intelligence and material index update:
- Being daily update with market evolution and tendency
- Reviewing with Market Institutes the price outlook short, mid and long term
- Preparing monthly, semestrial and long-term Market index
KPIs followed are:
- Panel convergence including
- Supplier CSR scoring improvement
- Sustainable Material Ratio
- Commodity Purchasing Performance KPI
**Qualifications**
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business
**Experience**:
- Minimum 5 years in Purchasing or similar business funtion
- Experience in a global industrial environment
Skills and competencies:
- Analytical and financial skills
- Business and Strategic acumen
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Purchasing contractual and legal aspects
- Fluent in English
- International mindset
Nice to have- Chemicals knowledge (products, technologies, cost models)
- Automotive industry experience
