**Job Description**:

- The role of Lead, Discovery and Innovation Lab will be primarily responsible for leading the end-to-end discovery process aligned to Digital Solutions positioning and value proposition. Activities may include

1) leading search and evaluation efforts for synergistic collaborations with leading startups and other partners (academic, deep tech, etc.),

2) leading cross-functional teams to validate opportunities and strategic fit with BDH/Solutions Core value proposition and as per BDH solution playbook innovation flow

3) managing alliances to ensure all parties' milestones achievements and delivery.

4) Leading strong alignment with BDH business partners in unmet needs identifications as per Users, Medical & business priorities

5) Lead and establish best practices and design thinking / process - driving best digital experiences
- She/he will collaborate closely with the different functions (Marketing, UX, Medical, Operations) and across Biogen (Regulatory, Legal, Compliance,) to design unified customer journeys and tailored digital solutions.
- She/he will Design, represent and execute the discovery strategy and process in collaboration with the senior leadership and deliver high quality product pipeline.

Principal Accountabilities:

- Implement, from design to execution, the digital Discovery roadmaps and initiatives issued from multichannel insights and engagement plans, including clear objectives, KPIs and impact measurement
- Implement innovative design to execution methodologies to build and deliver a solution pipeline.
- Drive strategic decision making, scenario evaluation, change management and contingency planning
- Drive impact with sense of purpose
- Help navigate complex and regulated environments
- Develop and manage new processes and best practices where no process or precedent exists, while maintaining strict compliance alignment
- Build trust and rapport that creates cross functional relationships for a comfortable & effective workplace
- Support the adoption of Discovery principles and playbook methodology by internal and external stakeholders to increase reach and impact
- Master and communicate the prodcut and user centric vision & strategy to internal and external stakeholders

**Qualifications**:

- MSc, PhD or MBA
- Specialization / Expertise in Technology, innovation, Lifescience or Digital Health
- Scientific background would be a plus
- 10 + years’ experience in Innovation, Strategic/Products roles
- Entrepreneurial in spirit and innovative thinker
- Good understanding of Agile & Lean delivery principles
- Experience working in a matrix and collaborating with teams both cross functionally and across geographies
- Emotional intelligence and social skills
