**About**: - Phagos is on a mission to create a cleaner, more sustainable future by using bacteria’s natural predator, the bacteriophage, to win the fight against antibiotic resistance and to cure infectious diseases in animal farming. To make our vision a reality, we are looking for a brilliant Team Lead in bacteriophage bioprocessing to join our team. We are looking for a hands-on **Team Lead** to oversee both **upstream (USP)** and **downstream (DSP)** processes for bacteriophage production at pilot scale. You'll be leading a team, scaling up production, and ensuring efficient bacteriophage production in line with industry standards. You will play a key role in **optimizing DSP methods** while managing the **upstream** processes in collaboration with engineers and technicians. **Key Responsibilities**Team Leadership**: Manage and guide a team of engineers and technicians in **upstream and downstream processes**, encouraging collaboration and technical growth.**Hands-on DSP Implementation**: Implement and optimize **downstream processing**, including **filtration and purification** of bacteriophages.**Production Scale-Up**: Oversee the scale-up of **upstream processes** to support increased production volumes.**Collaborative Optimization**: Work with **R&D** and **quality teams** to ensure both **USP and DSP** are aligned with production goals and regulatory standards.**Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure that both processes follow **GMP** and other relevant regulatory guidelines for safe and efficient production. **Preferred Experience**: **Education**: MSc or PhD in **Bioprocess Engineering**, **Biotechnology**, **Microbiology**, or similar fields.**Experience**: Hands-on experience with **USP and DSP processes**, including **fermentation**, **cell culture**, **filtration**, and **purification**.- Proven background in **bioprocess scaling** and **process optimization**, especially for **bacteriophages** or similar biologics.- Experience in leading and managing teams while balancing technical and leadership responsibilities.- Solid knowledge of **GMP** and **regulatory compliance** in biomanufacturing. - Innovative individual, able to troubleshoot complex bioprocess challenges. **What we Offer**: **International Culture**: Work with a global, diverse team driven by a shared vision of impactful biotechnology.**Impactful Work**: Lead processes that contribute directly to innovative biotechnologies.**Hybrid Work**: Flexible schedule with **remote work** and **in-office collaboration**.**Growth & Learning**: Gain valuable leadership and technical experience in a fast-paced environment. - **Well-being Perks**: Free breakfast, sports activities, and a healthy work-life balance culture.
