Research Project and Portfolio Manager - CIR (Crédit Impôt Recherche) F/M/D

Reporting to our Global Head of Science & Technology (S&T) Fragrances, your main responsibilities will be to:

- Manage a prioritised list of proactive fragrance research programs aligned with our strategy and category partners across the Fragrances Division, outside of the S&T departments, with a focus on French resources
- Encourage project hypothesis, goals and deliverables formulation; process planning, kick-off and project meeting organisation; progress and final reporting
- Set-up and initiating process, internal network and tools to: acquire and process all relevant data; ensure high-standards reporting of learning and deliverables by sharing knowledge within the development community and beyond;
- Ensure follow-up and quality of trainees' work in collaboration with universities/schools involved
- Participate in experimental programs where appropriate
- Align with S&T on selection of eligible CIR dossier topics, project owners and submission timing. Upon reception of high-quality S&T reports from owners, perform minor editing if needed, to harmonise with the non-S&T reports;
Facilitate Fragrance Crédit Impôt Recherche (CIR) annual research dossier planning and report drafting
- Collaborate with our members of the Crédit Impôt Recherche (CIR) management team towards seamless annual fragrance research reporting of relevant activities within Givaudan France to achieve the CIR.
- Scout for eligible non-S&T research efforts within the division in France, conduct interviews to sharpen project focus and associated reporting and agree commitments
- Ensure high-quality annual reporting of this effort in collaboration with external expert consultants (e.g. Leugos, Fineco)
- Communicate Fineco comment to S&T and development project owners for dossier finalization

**You Have**:
Scientific background, M.Sc. with minimum 4 years' experience or Ph.D. in relevant scientific field
Degree and basic knowledge on chemistry, especially physical chemistry, soft matter and/or formulation Knowledge in perfumery
Minimum 3 years Fragrance or consumer product industry experience
Ability to manage 2-3 student interns per year performing various experimental tasks
Ability to manage complex topics across multiple science fields
Experience with R&D management, project management, IP law
Sense of organisation - Ability to run multiple projects in parallel
