In fact, you will find our technology in every aspect of modern life: in AI, medical equipment, 5G, smartphones, autonomous driving, and more._ For installations and commissioning of our systems as well as the associated maintenance and repairs, we are looking for a (**Senior) Field Service Engineer **for our France office (Crolles). **Primary Functions**: - Preventative maintenance and remedial repair maintenance on complex electronic / electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment at ASM’s customer locations in Crolles, occasionally also outside of Europe. - Perform tool-down repair support in complex situations in production environment; work in variedly formed teams; develop action plans and presentations for problem resolutions. - Installations, qualification, preventative maintenance and remedial repair maintenance on complex electronic / electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment at ASM’s customer locations, occasionally also outside of Europe. - As a field service engineer you work onsite at various customer locations in a cleanroom environment. When working in a cleanroom a FSE is required to wear a cleanroom suit. - Create and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through advanced customer service skills, implementing permanent solutions while maintaining a "safety first" mentality. - Comprehensive and swift reporting. - Flexible as this position might be on a shift contract (morning or evening). **Travel **This position is mainly based in Crolles area. But due to ASM’s growing international presence and customer base, the occasional business trip abroad might be necessary (mainly in Europe). **Education and Experience**: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering or relevant high school technical diploma (BTS degree etc) - Good hands on skills. - Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and solve technical challenges - French native speaking with good verbal & written communication skills in English - Knowledge of SAP or Data Management software system is a plus - Working software knowledge of MS office - You have a valid driver’s license **Our Offer**: - Your chance to work for one of the leading suppliers of semiconductor process equipment - Varied and dynamic international environment - A supportive, collaborative team environment - A competitive salary package including a base salary, bonus and extralegal benefits - Mutual insurance - Company car for business and personal use - This position will involve day shift-work up to 50% of the time.
