For our **Premium Product Creation** department, at our location in **Paris** we are looking for a:
**Material Developer - Premium Products (f/m/d)**

**YOUR SHOES TO FILL**:

- As a service provider for the Premium Design and Project Development teams; you establish and manage a material library for efficient premium product creation.
- You strengthen our material and component expertise (e.g. in leathers and functional fabrics).
- You build excellent relationships with strategic material and component suppliers and manage the onboarding processes of new material/components of suppliers for our premium products.
- You manage and monitor material development projects (on a seasonal base as a support to the development team as well as innovative projects with the innovation team).
- Last but not least: you maintain the material master data in the system and coordinate prototype material orders and invoicing.

**YOUR WALK OF LIFE**:

- Successfully completed studies in the field of material development and/or education in the field of leather processing/finishing
- At least 5 years of professional experience in footwear or fashion industry, working with premium quality materials.
- In-depth knowledge in the field of leather is an advantage; functional know-how of leather processing/finishing as well as synthetic and natural makes.
- Confident handling of MS Office.
- Fluent in English, French and Germany are a plus.
- High level of pragmatism and hands-on mentality; you make things happen
- An out of the box thinker, you see beyond current solutions and provide new ways of doing things.
- Strong communication skills and capable of building strong work relationships with different interfaces.
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis to our Cologne team and internationally.
