Senior Product Designer,

As Senior Product Designer for one of the wefox product teams you will create delightful and engaging experiences to make the digitally transformed insurance simpler and better. As part of a cross-functional team of developers, product managers, business stakeholders and other designers, you will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle of a given feature: starting from ideation, prototyping and user testing, all the way through to intuitive and appealing final designs.

**The role**:

- Define the user journey and experience of the customer, focusing on self-service features that make claims, policy management and other insurance tasks a breeze
- Contribute to the discovery and ideation phase of product development by conducting user research and defining the user problem
- Make product features a reality by designing user journeys, wireframes and prototypes, conducting user testing, creating final mockups and collaborating with the PM and engineers on the final design
- Collaborate with designers from the other customer-facing squads to achieve a consistent UX and UI design across all products
- Continuously contribute to our design system, taking part in the process of creating and reviewing new components, documenting their interaction and expected flow for the developers
- Mentor junior designers, helping them excel in their craft and handoff to developers
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to define what is being built, but also, what isn’t being built
- Master best practices for user experience and interaction design, and become an advocate across the company

**What you bring**:

- You have 6+ years of experience as a product designer
- You have experience in insurTech or finTech
- You love working collaboratively with design and prototyping tools like Figma
- Experience in working with a design system is a must
- You have outstanding communication and presentation skills to achieve buy-in from stakeholders and educate team members about the impact of your design decisions
- Experience working on both B2C and B2B platforms
- You are fluent in English, level C2, while German or another European language is a plus
