You will join Mirova natural capital team based in Paris. The team is dedicated to investing in companies which contribute to setting up sustainable agriculture and forestry value chains and generating positive social and environmental impacts in developing countries.
The Investment Analyst Apprentice will work on all tasks related to the investment lifecycle and process. You will have the opportunity to work on the following topics:
- Responsible for the sourcing of investment opportunities that meet financial and extra-financial criteria.
- Analysis of investment opportunities, including financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, macro and market analysis.
- Support the investment team on the preparation and drafting of investment committee notes.
- Drafting of commercial and marketing documents (term sheets, factsheets, marketing presentation).
- Preparation of reporting documents addressed to investors.
The position is based in Paris and is to be filled in September 2024 for a 12-month period.

**Profile**:
- Training: College student preparing a university degree in finance, business administration, economics.
- Specialization: Finance with a strong interest in impact investing and sustainable development, Economics, Agronomy/Forestry.
Hard skills:
- Financial analysis skills;
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint;
- Fluent French and English and possibly other languages.
Soft skills:
- Interest in issues related to the ecological transition (climate, biodiversity, soil restoration, carbon balance, carbon offsetting, etc.);
- Very good writing, analysis, and synthesis skills;
- Self-starter, pro-active, rigorous and outcome oriented.
