Since 1978 our Group has continued to provide end to end innovative and efficient solutions to customers, encompassing a complete range of shipping, land, air and logistics solutions.
Today, we are reaffirming our values by continuing our growth through the newly created CMA CGM AIR CARGO division.
This new activity enables us to offer a comprehensive range of services, thus reenforcing our strategic position with our global customers.
Already equipped with a fleet of 6x long-haul aircraft (4x A330-200F and 2x B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO is on an ambitious mission to continue to grow its current fleet with the acquisition of new freighters.
CMA CGM AIR CARGO has already confirmed orders for 4x Airbus A350 freighters and will become the world’s first airline to launch and operate this state of the art cargo aircraft.
As part of its development, CMA CGM AIR CARGO is looking for a flight operations engineer for its Flight Ops Department and Crew Training Department. The workload will be divided between these two departments.
**RESPONSABILITIES**:
1. Ensure the functioning of the Flight Ops Department, guarantors of the company's operational performance:
Support and promote innovation, initiative, responsiveness and pragmatism in flight operations.
Define the business procedures of the Flight Ops Department and ensure the management of the operational documentation in collaboration with the Flight Crew division and the OCC;
Ensure the business administration and development of the EFB environment and all flight operations tools;
Ensure line studies, monitoring of airport data and aircraft performance, and support the Operations Control Center for the initiation of flights.
2. Participate in the development and structuring of the Crew Training Department:
Develop training programs and ensure their follow-up ;
Implement and configure the range of software for monitoring crew training ;
Participate in the regulatory watch on the evolution of national and European legislation related to crew training ;
Participate in the development and updating of the parts of the operations manual that are dedicated to crew training ;
Ensure reporting on needs and achievements in terms of regulatory training in conjunction with the Human Resources Department and the Academy.
**PROFILE**:
Engineer or with a master's degree in science, you have a first experience in flight operations (engineering consultancy, operations control center, flight safety, IT operations,...).
You have a pronounced taste for transversality and teamwork. Your ability to innovate, your curiosity, your rigor and your tenacity will allow you to make the best decisions under pressure and contribute to the success of our flight operations.
The position is based in Marseille. Frequent travel to Paris CDG is required.
