- At Givaudan, consumers are always at the heart of our development strategy. Our Consumer Market Insight (CMI) managers are key partners and work closely with development and sales team to provide in-depth consumer understanding knowledge, and market insights at each step of the fragrance development for Consumer Products division. The Insights they generate guide, influence and inspire the fragrance journey.- As a senior CMI manager you will manage Consumer Market Insight activity in Western and Eastern Europe for some of our key international customers and provide consumer market insight expertise on a specific category of products, in our Creative Centre, near Paris.- Sounds interesting?- Reporting to the **Category Director**, in this exciting role, you will:
- **Lead the CMI strategy of regional projects**
- **Act as market research expert** in direct contact with international clients, to discuss and review CMI strategies, methodologies and results
- **Play a key role in the Givaudan CMI community** through specific CMI-driven cross regional and cross category initiatives
- **Act as CMI Business Partner** for Perfumers, Evaluators and Marketing, working closely on projects throughout the development cycle providing in-depth interpretation of results to guide fragrance development
- **Continuously build CMI expertise** and share with internal and external stakeholders
- **Lead Innovation**, exploring new ideas and experimenting with new methodologies
- **Work with category teams to think strategically**, identify opportunities and gaps in knowledge, help building a strategic category plan
- **Manage a Junior CMI Manager**

- University Degree/Master’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
- 7 - 10+ years of experience in market research
- Verbal and written command of English and local language
- Understanding of statistics and experimental design
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge and use of quantitative methodologies (protocols, designs, questionnaires etc.) Good understanding of qualitative technics
- Stays up to date with the latest developments/techniques in CMI profession
- Effectively plans, leads and communicates all required functional steps in the CMI project
- Expertise in analysing large data sets and drawing strategic conclusions and implications
