Our subsidiary **YATIC** is a digital services company active in the fields of industry, telecommunications, and defense.
We are looking for a **Back-end Software Engineer **to work for our client specializing in **Geothermal energy.**
**Main responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities for this position will be:
- Work with experts to refine requirements.
- Turn requirements and user stories into functionality.
- Develop server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end developers.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, customers, users and Product Owners to establish objectives and design functional, cohesive codes.
- Keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.
- Provide technical leadership and documentation to developers and stakeholders.
- Build prototypes, products and systems that meet the project quality standards and requirements.
Contribute to and support re-use through common components that are well documented and tested.
**Profile - Experience / qualifications / skills**:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with software experience or education.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- You have experience with source control systems and continuous integration / deployment environments.
- You have experience with agile development methodologies.
**Technical skills**
- Basic skills on cloud technologies: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services.
- Technical programming expertise in one or more languages: Python, bash, SQL, TypeScript...
