**R&D Electronic Engineer**:
We are a MedTech company located in Sophia Antipolis (Vallauris, France), in the South of France.

If so, we could offer you an exciting career at ITSA Medical in Sophia Antipolis (CDI/ Permanent contract). The bone anchored solutions developed and produced by ITSA Medical are marketed by our sister company Oticon Medical AB.

We develop implantable medical devices as well as surgical techniques. The Sophia Antipolis site specializes in the production of transcutaneous implants, product development and sales activities for France.

You will be part of the Research & Development team spread over 3 sites, Sophia Antipolis (Vallauris, France), Gothenburg (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark). The R&D team works on the development of future percutaneous and transcutaneous solutions. The position is based in our R&D center located in Sophia Antipolis.

Reporting to the R&D manager of the Sophia Antipolis site, your main responsibility is to develop and maintain the electronic subsystems of implants and sound processors for bone conduction solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan your own work to support the project plan; report progress and meet agreed deadlines
- While contributing to it, autonomously coordinate all design activities of an electronic subassembly, including collaboration with internal or external stakeholders (subcontractors)
- Design and develop electronic subassemblies that meet applicable requirements
- Perform verification and characterization of electronic subassemblies through a combination of simulations and physical laboratory tests
- Define requirements applicable to incoming inspection, production and functional tests
- Contribute to product sustainability (investigate and resolve production-related issues, manage component obsolescence or supplier changes
- Document work in accordance with the company's development processes
- Ensure that applicable guidelines, standards and practices are respected
- Plan and manage design reviews to validate proposed solutions
- Deliver the DHF of the electronic subassembly by collaborating with internal or external stakeholders

**Competencies**:

- Required skills :_
- Master’s degree in electronics and approximately 10 years’ experience in the design of electronic circuits (analog and mixed signals) with high constraints (EMC, low power, reliability) ranging from feasibility to release in production
- Proven experience in the electronic development of implantable medical devices
- Good knowledge of reliability and safety issues, as well as the standards applicable to electronic equipment and systems
- Experience in co-development with third parties
- Methodical, analytical, attentive to detail, you also have a critical mind and are recognized as being a force for proposals both on technical issues and on the improvement of working methods
- Fluency in English (read, written, spoken)

Desired skills:

- Experience in audio systems development
- Experience in electronic and audio industrial testability (FQCE / FQCA)
- Interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to a variety of people
