Shiro Games are the creators of the tactical RPG Wartales, the 4X Dune : Spice Wars and the multi million seller Northgard.

We are an independent video game development studio based in Bordeaux, France. Since 2012, we have created games with small development teams but we don’t forget our roots : work fast and never crunch.

Our team is made of talented and passionate developers who strive for excellence and are brave enough to make bold decisions on a daily basis. We’re always looking for more great people with good hearts, a will to take on any challenge and the ability to bring a new perspective that will make Shiro Games an even better studio.

We are now looking for a talented and experienced game designer to work on an unannounced sci-fi multiplayer game that the whole team is excited about.

**Requirements**:

- Create the game design documents in close collaboration with the Creative Director and explain and enrich them through interactions with developers and artists
- Maintain a high level of quality while working with design and technical constraints
- Practice iterative design techniques to integrate player feedback and playtest data
- Identify challenges with gameplay mechanics, game content, workflow processes and find creative solutions with the player’s needs firmly in mind to ensure anything developed by the team contributes to an engaging player experience

**Desired skills**:

- At least 3+ years in a Game Designer role with at least one shipped title
- Extensive content and systems design relevant experience
- Ability to create meaningful systems and impactful related content
- Creative and innovation mindset to explore, make new ideas come to life
- Communication skills and ability to work as a team member
- Strong proficiency in analytical and formal thinking
- Proactive, organized and good planning skills

**Pluses**:

- Experience or interest in designing cooperative and/or multiplayer experiences
- A keen interest in the sci-fi genre

**Last, but not least : absolute passion for playing and making computer games **
