**About My Client**

My client provides “edge-intelligent” video technologies to intel, defence and law enforcement customers.
At the core of their solutions are two areas of unique IP - **AI-based edge analytics and low-bandwidth, low
- latency live video streaming.**

**About the Role**
- The role of **Technical Lead for AI** is a senior technical role in the company and the Video Analytics and AI team. In this role, you will **work closely with the CTO of AI** and other stakeholders within the company on the development of our platform.
- You will be technically very strong and **up-to date with the latest industry trends** and any new technology that is applicable to our domain. You will still **enjoy taking an active role in development** to build well engineered solutions. You will have a focus and expertise on Cloud based technology.
- You will have excellent communication skills and a **very good level of English**. You must be able to write progress reports and deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders when required. You must have strong leadership and organizational skills.

**Essential Requirements**

You should be skilled or highly familiar with:

- Management of highly technical and skilled engineers
- **Amazon AWS** (EC2, Lambda, Fargate) o Sagemaker an advantage
- Docker/Kubernetes o Terraform and Helm o Clustering/Scaling
- Good programming skills in **C/C++** and Python
- Development experience **under Linux** o Linux tool-chain, (c)make, gcc/g++ o Versioning tools, preferably git
- **Image Processing and Machine Learning** experience
- Familiarity with software development methodology, preferably agile
- Excellent communication, motivational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English

**Preferred Requirements**

Those are ++:

- Experience in a similar role
- PhD in Image Processing and/or Machine Learning
- Knowledge of OpenVINO and/or TensorRT
- Knowledge of CI (Jenkins, gitlab, Artifactory)
- Knowledge of SQL Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Good networking knowledge; configuration and security
- Scripting technologies: Bash/Python
- RESTful API, using and writing
