Loan Advisory Manager

I am working in partnership with one of France’s leading consulting firms, assisting them to hire a new team member for their M&A Financial Institutions Group. Specifically, the role is focused on Loan Portfolio Advisory - advising governments, financial institutions, regulatory authorities and private equity firms on deleveraging, specialised loan portfolio servicing, and buy and sell side mandates. The firm is a recognized leader in this space, both in France and globally.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Partner and effectively acting as their 'second in command'. This is a dynamic, challenging role with a lot of responsibility, and is open to highly motivated professionals at Manager / Senior Manager level.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Advising on a range of buy-side, strategic advisory and sell-side transactions
- Leading transactions, which includes extensive project management, coordinating the preparation of data tapes, information memoranda, valuation analysis and taking responsibility for the preparation of information and client communications
- Acting as the central point of contact for key clients during high pressured and complex transactions
- Support clients through the options analysis, planning and implementation phases of restructuring projects
- Work closely and collaboratively with client staff, on client premises, to deliver projects using outstanding technical skills and commercial awareness along with a willingness to deliver results
**Requirements**:
I am keen to hear from anyone with a demonstrated history of working on a wide range of loan portfolio engagements, particularly the acquisition / disposal of NPL's (non-performing loans). French language skills are required (we can consider intermediate level), and the ability to work under pressure often in the face of time constraints and competing priorities.
