**Description**

Hitachi Astemo is one of the major actors on brake development market. At Hitachi Astemo several innovative braking systems are developed for international automotive industries. As part of the autonomous vehicle development program, the testing department goal is to verify/validate the Automatic Parking Brake (APB) software.

As part of the testing team, your role will be to develop tools which will participate to improve efficiency inside the service.

**Your mission**:
Your goal is to develop/improve tools dedicated to the validation of the APB software and deploy them within the testing team.

**First internship**:
Testers are facing a lot of data to analyze. To process this data, some tools have been developed internally, but du to the amount of datas, new developments are needed. Thus, the aim for this internship will be to develop a tool that will improve test reporting. To achieve this goal, here are the main steps:

- State of the art
- Propose an architecture of the tool which that will meet testers' requirements
- Develop the tool using **Matlab** (and/or **Python**) and propose a user-friendly interface
- Test the final tool with real datas coming from benches
- Provide documentation

**Second internship**:
To validation the APB software, Hitachi Astemo has developped its own language to script tests as well as its own environment. In order to analyse and develop our test capabilities, the trainee will explore another way to develop our test environment using existing tools. To achieve this goal, here are the main steps:

- State of the art
- Develop test cases with **SimulinkTest**
- Propose a complete environment to test our software
- Link this new environment to existing tools (**Jenkins server**, automatic reporting, etc...)
- Provide a complete environment and set of tests
- Provide documentation

**Profile**:
Engineer / master degree / BTS : informatic (development)

Motivated, engaged and rigorous

**Technical skills**:
Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, SimulinkTest or Python,

Microsoft office

Technical english is recommended
