Joining this team means to join the leader of video end-to-end **Job Description**: VIE CONTRACT ONLY - POSITION BASED IN US (Atlanta, GA, US) Check your eligibility on Business France Website, VIE contract must be: - Under 29 years old - European Union citizen As part of the Operations Sourcing team, for Technicolor Connected Home products, which role is to support our global components sourcing strategy with our suppliers, and reporting to a Global Category Manager in Norcross (US) site, you will be in charge of: - Helping to develop the SOC category Sourcing strategy, in coordination with internal stakeholders. - Support the relationship with the suppliers, - Be part of the negation of the prices with the senior category manager and associated to the revision of contractual terms for all components, software and services that Technicolor procures in the category. **Responsibilities**: - ** Helping to develop the category Sourcing strategy, having it validated by internal stakeholders** - Category segmentation, market intelligence (established suppliers, demand landscape), technology trends, - Benchmark vs Technicolor competitors: supplier base, make or buy decisions - Benchmark vs adjacent segment players (e.g. retail routers, TV, etc.) - Propose a strategy, actions and owners to implement it in collaboration with the Senior Category Manager - ** Support the relationship with the suppliers** - Map the suppliers to the appropriate relationship model. Propose a structured governance approach by supplier. - Develop supplier knowledge and intimacy. Document supplier's organization and identify decision makers, influencers. - Identify risk analysis and risk mitigation including supply risk. Continuity plan. - Extend the collaboration beyond traditional boundaries: Innovation (cross technology adoption), joint commercial approach toward customers, standardization bodies and other third parties. - ** Be part of the negociation of the prices with the senior Category manager and associated to the revision of contractual terms for all components, software and services that Technicolor procures in the category.** - Leverage appropriate tools e.g. e-Sourcing RFQs, e-Auctions, Total Cost of Ownership, etc. - Create a "Should-Cost" model applicable to the category to challenge supplier pricing based on cost breakdown and/or market price datapoints. **Qualifications**: - First significant experience in electronic engineering and/or component sourcing. An experience in semiconductor and memory is a plus. - Ability to be in relation with multiple interlocutors, internal and external in an international context, - Structured problem-solving skills (green belt or black belt preferred) & Strong analytic skills in business case and scenario planning - Ability to communicate in a synthetic manner to limit time spent, relevant management decisions; - Curiosity: adapt to technology evolution; maintain relevance; - Ability to think out of the box, challenge the status quo.
