**About the Role**

Nexun’s GIS & Data team (4 people) develops and maintains a cutting-edge webGIS tool that supports our development teams in site identification and project monitoring. This platform centralizes all the critical data needed for efficient and informed project development.

We are looking for a **GIS Specialist** to strengthen the team during a maternity leave cover. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our tools, data pipelines, and support services while collaborating with colleagues across the company.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify, collect, and update data
- Create scripts to process and integrate data into databases
- Maintain and improve existing data-processing workflows
- Write and update technical documentation (scripts, user manuals, FAQs)
- Contribute to the creation of a geocatalog and script catalog
- Configure and maintain webGIS features (maps, symbology, layers, etc.)
- Provide user support and training to internal teams

**Skills & Qualifications**

**Education**
- Master’s degree in geomatics or GIS
- Minimum 5 years of experience

**Technical Expertise**
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and QGIS
- Experience with data processing and database management
- Knowledge of Python, FME, and/or R is an asset
- Solid understanding of geographical data and concepts

**Soft Skills**
- Fluent in **English and French** (both required)
- Knowledge of another European language (German, Spanish, or Polish) is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team, with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
