Complete an internship project at SOPHiA GENETICS whose mission is to build the future of AI-assisted medicine, joining the Multimodal Predictive Algorithm Team as a Junior Data Scientist Intern.

**Your mission**:
You will contribute to the development and validation of deep-learning algorithms designed to predict treatment responses in various cancer types, including liver, breast, and lung cancer. This project is part of a larger initiative focused on multimodal predictive models that aim to improve treatment outcomes in oncology.

**You will be involved in**:

- Constitution and managing of the training and testing cohorts from real-world medical datasets.
- Training deep-learning algorithms on medical imaging datasets to improve prediction accuracy.
- Testing and validating the performance and effectiveness of deep-learning models.
- Optimisation and fine-tune deep-learning models for better performance and clinical applicability.

**Requirements**:
**The experience you bring**:

- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of deep-learning techniques and image processing.
- Proficiency in Python, with a strong interest in machine learning and AI.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively, and collaborate within a team, while also working independently when required.
