**Role Overview**

**We are looking for**:

- A Quality Control Laboratory Manager, in charge of a team of 4 technicians and 1 work-study student, for Solvay plant, on the Salindres chemical platform.
- You will work in the Quality department and report to the Supply Chain, Quality and Logistics Manager.
- Your main tasks will be to:

- Manage and lead the laboratory team.
- Carry out IGP in your sector, and observe critical tasks.
- Leads the Laboratory Quality Control process (indicators, handling complaints related to analytical / product quality problems, listening to customers).
- Maintains control plans (analysis and sampling).
- Defines the choice of analytical methods and associated equipment. Has authority to approve analytical operating modes and laboratory procedures.
- Participates in internal audits, quality training modules and qualifies new internal auditors.
- Responds to special analysis requests from production workshops.
- Analyzes and monitors deviations in terms of atmospheric and aqueous emissions.
- Transmits results to the relevant authorities (GIDAF, etc.).
- Defines and proposes the site's analytical investments.

- Activate the levers of continuous improvement within the laboratory team (team meetings, action plans, technical reviews, problem solving) and contribute to a good level of safety and efficiency in the field.
- Structure and organize your work and that of the laboratory team, and maintain a high level of performance in laboratory analysis planning.
- Keep up to date with administrative issues and help the laboratory team to grow.
- Be attentive to the needs of the plant's various contacts (internal: Manufacturing, GIE, Supply Chain, Logistics and external: customers, sales, RICL laboratory).

**You will bring**:

- Your technical knowledge acquired during your studies BAC+5 or equivalent training in chemistry, you have proven experience in industry and team management.
- Your experience has enabled you to work in ISO 9001-accredited laboratory environments, and knowledge of physical analysis methods, metrology or analytical chemistry would be a plus.
- You have a good command of IT tools (knowledge of SAP ERP would be a major asset).
- Your initiative and versatility (field and office)
- Structure, formalism and rigor in the organization of schedules and projects.
- Your open-mindedness, good communication and writing skills
- Your ability to listen and analyze, and to manage cross-functional projects.
